Role Description As a Frontend Engineer (Mid) at Bang Jamin, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing user-facing features for our digital insurance platform. You will translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive interfaces, ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Daily tasks include writing clean and efficient code, reviewing code from peers, troubleshooting and resolving frontend issues, and participating in technical discussions and sprint planning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve and scale the platform.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
• Candidates should possess Web Development skills with experience building, integrating, and maintaining production web applications.
• Candidates should possess Responsive Web Design skills to ensure consistent user experiences across devices and screen sizes.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and adherence to best practices.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts to effectively collaborate with backend engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and fintech or insurance platforms is an advantage.
