About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to build and maintain our web application and marketing websites. You'll work directly with the founder, own features from design through deployment, and help create intuitive, high-performance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Build responsive, high-performance interfaces for our web application and marketing websites.

•⁠ ⁠Develop core product features, including data viewers, user dashboards, and account, credit, and checkout flows.

•⁠ ⁠Build interactive maps and data visualization features.

•⁠ ⁠Translate designs into clean, reusable, well-tested components.

•⁠ ⁠Write and maintain automated tests and help integrate QA automation into the release process.

•⁠ ⁠Optimize websites for mobile, page speed, accessibility, and SEO.

•⁠ ⁠Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.

•⁠ ⁠Work with backend services and APIs to deliver features end to end.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain analytics, tracking, and A/B testing integrations for marketing websites.

•⁠ ⁠Follow web security best practices for authentication, session management, and common vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

Required

•⁠ ⁠3–7 years of professional frontend development experience.

•⁠ ⁠Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS. Next.js is preferred, and Tailwind CSS is a plus.

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to write effective prompts, review and debug AI-generated code, and validate its quality.

•⁠ ⁠Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

•⁠ ⁠Experience building mobile-first, responsive web applications.

•⁠ ⁠Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with marketing websites, including SEO, analytics, tracking, GA4, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, and A/B testing.

•⁠ ⁠Understanding of web security fundamentals, including authentication, session and token handling, XSS, and CSRF.

•⁠ ⁠Comfortable with Git, code reviews, and working independently in a small team.

•⁠ ⁠Professional spoken and written English.

•⁠ ⁠Availability for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time.

Nice to Have

•⁠ ⁠Experience with Playwright or Cypress, visual regression testing, and CI/CD testing workflows.

•⁠ ⁠Backend or DevOps experience with Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, cloud hosting, or Docker.

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with payment and subscription interfaces, such as Stripe.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with mapping libraries such as Mapbox GL JS, Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Google Maps API.

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with 3D web graphics and mapping tools such as Three.js or CesiumJS.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, and vector tiles, plus general GIS knowledge.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3 or Recharts and generating PDF reports from web content.

•⁠ ⁠Experience working in Figma and contributing to a design system.

•⁠ ⁠Background in real estate technology, architecture, or construction software.
