## About the Role

Allocate is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build end-to-end features for its private markets platform, connecting PostgreSQL data and C#/.NET APIs with Vue.js and TypeScript interfaces used by advisors and their clients. The role works across both client-facing and administrative portals within a small, independent, cross-functional Agile squad.

This is an AI-first engineering role where AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex are part of the primary development workflow. The successful candidate will combine strong full stack engineering skills with sound engineering judgment, owning features from database schema through API and UI while maintaining correctness, security, stability, and maintainability.

## Key Responsibilities

* Build rich, intuitive user experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript from prototype through production.

* Partner with product and design teams to iterate on user flows and translate requirements into effective interfaces.

* Deliver stable, correct, and security-compliant frontend software across client and admin portals.

* Design and implement new features and REST API endpoints using C#/.NET.

* Design and implement database schema changes with application performance in mind, including appropriate indexing.

* Build scalable, testable, high-quality software across the full stack.

* Own features end to end within an independent, cross-functional Agile squad.

* Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex as a primary part of the development workflow.

* Evaluate emerging AI development tools and agentic workflows and share effective approaches with the engineering organization.

* Take ownership of ambiguous technical problems, scope solutions, and drive them through to production.

* Review AI-generated code with the same rigor applied to standard code reviews.

* Maintain accountability for the correctness, security, and maintainability of shipped software.

* Contribute to improving AI-assisted development practices and engineering efficiency.

## Required Qualifications

* 5–10 years of experience building web applications.

* 5+ years of object-oriented software engineering experience using C#, Java, or a similar language.

* 3+ years of C# experience.

* 2+ years of experience developing REST APIs.

* 3+ years of experience with Vue.js.

* 1+ year of TypeScript experience.

* 5+ years of experience with SQL-based databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

* Ability to design database schemas that support performant applications.

* Experience delivering frontend software that is correct, stable, and security compliant.

* Experience shipping production code using AI agents and AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.

* Basic understanding of common AWS services, including S3, CloudFront, and ECS/EKS.

* Proficiency with Git and experience working in a Git-based development environment.

* Ability to work autonomously and effectively without direct supervision.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent real-world experience.

## Preferred Qualifications

* ASP.NET Web API development experience.

* Familiarity with ORM concepts and technologies such as Dapper and Entity Framework.

* Familiarity with FluentMigrator.

* Experience with agentic development workflows, including asynchronous coding agents, MCP integrations, or custom tooling around LLMs.

* Docker and Docker Compose experience.

* Familiarity with CI pipelines.

* DevOps experience with Terraform, AWS, ECS, or EKS.

## Compensation & Benefits

**Compensation**

* Base Salary: **$145,000–$175,000**

* Bonus eligibility.

* Equity eligibility.

* Base pay is determined based on factors including experience, location, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data.
