Job Description

Role Overview

SiGMA Group, a global leader in gaming, emerging tech, affiliate marketing, events, and media, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Frontend Engineer (React) to join its Technology and Development team in Limassol. The role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for a brand-new eLearning platform for the iGaming Academy. Working closely with product, design, and back-end teams, the engineer will deliver polished, performant interfaces deployed via CDN on cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing web applications and user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Optimise application delivery through CDN strategies, caching mechanisms, and asset optimisation.
• Ensure applications are optimised for speed, usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Build reusable components and contribute to front-end architecture and design systems.
• Integrate front-end applications with APIs and back-end services in a distributed, cloud-based environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues in development and production environments.

Required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimisation techniques.
• Strong experience integrating with REST and/or GraphQL APIs in production environments.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and front-end testing practices.
• Strong debugging, architectural thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  
  

Nice to Have

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer, Developer, or similar role.
• Experience building production-grade web applications.
• Experience deploying front-end applications on AWS (e.g., S3, CloudFront) with CDN caching strategies.
• Experience building SPAs for high-traffic or performance-critical platforms.
• Understanding of iGaming audiences and digital engagement patterns.
