We are supporting a leading sports technology company who are building the systems that turn raw athlete and performance data into decisions coaches actually trust. These systems are built at speed and at scale for organisations who don't get a second chance to get it right.

Its a fantastic chance to join an innovation & engineering lead tech company whos products are used by professional sports teams & athletes all over the world.

You'll own complex, high-throughput systems end to end (architecture through to production) and make the calls that shape how the product evolves.

This will be joining one of their integral product teams where everyone plays a key role in shaping the product and building unique systems for their users.

The role & requirements:

• Design and build event-driven, microservices-based systems that hold up under real load
• Work across the full stack: C#, TypeScript/Node, AWS (they are open to other technologies)
• Solve genuinely hard systems-design problems (scalability, resilience, data at volume)
• TDD, clean architecture, no shortcuts
• Shape product direction
• Be involved in workshops & help decided on key technical decision/ direction of the product
• Systems design is a KEY FACTOR and something they heavily look for/ implement as a buisness

What you bring

• Real product experience... you've shipped things people use
• Strong C#, AWS, TypeScript and Node.js experience
• A genuine handle on systems design (you can explain why, not just what) - This is also a key part of their interview process
• Comfort with event-driven architecture and microservices at meaningful scale
• Experience working with complex systems
• Disciplined engineering practice (TDD and clean code)
• The ability to communicate clearly, under pressure
