Yoni allows women to scan the receipt for the period products they already buy, and get real value back: rewards they can keep and spend with our brand partners, or give directly to someone who needs period care and can't afford it. Brands fund it, because reaching a verified, engaged female audience is worth more to them than another ad nobody remembers.

This is an early-stage, mission-driven startup solving a problem that hasn't been solved yet - real technical and product territory, not a copy of something that already exists. Yoni is live on iOS and Android, holds provisional patents in Australia and the United States, and is backed by a City of Sydney grant.

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and scale Yoni's receipt-scan rewards platform. This is a remote, full-time role. You'll work on the technology behind how women scan, verify, and redeem value from purchases they're already making - shipping features across our app and backend, and helping shape the technical foundation as one of our early engineering hires. You'll work closely with our founding team and technical leadership to turn an ambitious product vision into real, working software.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background - we particularly value experience at high-growth consumer tech or health tech companies (e.g. WHOOP, Oura, Flo, Strava Apple, Google, Meta Anthropic, or similar)
• Currently based in the United States or Australia - strong preference for United States
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and ambiguity

Compensation

This role includes equity in Yoni. Full compensation structure will be discussed directly with shortlisted candidates.
