About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join the Frog Design team. In this role, you will design, build, test, and deploy web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. You will work with designers, product partners, and other technical colleagues to turn requirements and concepts into reliable, responsive web experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with sound judgment, clear communication, and an interest in creating applications that work well for a wide range of users.

You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding project needs and evaluating implementation options to maintaining and improving applications after launch. This position is suited to a developer who can work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively across teams. You will also help identify practical improvements to code quality, performance, accessibility, and development processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should have at least three years of professional web development experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be relevant. A Certified Web Developer credential or related certification is optional.

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is required, along with experience using a modern framework such as React or Angular. You should also have experience with back-end development using technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python, or Django. Familiarity with database management systems, including MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL, and version control tools such as Git or SVN is expected.

Successful candidates bring a solid understanding of web development concepts, responsive design, accessibility, and established web standards. You should be comfortable investigating technical issues, evaluating alternatives, and explaining your work to colleagues with varied areas of expertise. Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills are important, as is a willingness to keep learning as tools and practices evolve.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy front-end and back-end components for web applications. Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code that supports project requirements and established quality standards. Work with cross-functional teams to understand user and business needs, plan implementation, and integrate web applications with existing systems.

Build responsive experiences that function consistently across devices and browsers. Consider accessibility throughout development and help ensure applications meet relevant web standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application-related issues, documenting findings and communicating progress when needed. Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback to support shared quality and consistency.

Monitor application performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, usability, and maintainability. Stay informed about emerging web development technologies, frameworks, and practices, and share relevant insights with the team. Manage development work responsibly, raise risks early, and collaborate with teammates to deliver dependable solutions on schedule.
