Role Overview

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for a distributed, innovative text-to-speech platform used globally by millions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product architecture, optimize performance, and support enterprise solutions. Focus on scalable, high-availability systems while contributing to a mission that improves learning accessibility for users with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust public and internal APIs including TTS, Payments, Subscriptions, and Authentication.
• Optimize backend architecture for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, ensuring seamless enterprise integrations.
• Work closely with product teams to align technology with user experience and strategic goals.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in backend development using TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with GCP, and familiarity with AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments is preferred.
• Strong communication, work ethic, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
