As the Founding Backend Engineer for Platforms at ALIGNMT AI, you will own part of the organization's overall data platform and infrastructure implementation and the integration experience for our customers and partners. To achieve this, you will need to have a deep understanding of platform engineering, federated evaluation and, most importantly, enterprise data governance.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field
- 4+ years of experience of extensive experience in software engineering with a proven track record of shipping successful projects
- Mastery of backend languages or databases such as Golang, Postgres
- Mastery of testing strategies and frameworks for backend testing
- Extensive experience building and maintaining large scale distributed systems
- Excellent coding, testing and system design skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Deep knowledge of privacy-preserving federated evaluation, micro service architectures, and enterprise security standards (ISO 27001, SOC-2, HITRUST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data warehouse such as BigQuery, Redshift
- Experience in developing and deploying containerized and serverless applications on GCP or AWS
- Experience in CI/CD systems and processes
- Experience building integrations with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner
- A solid understanding of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with current trends and challenges in health tech
Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable and robust systems to abstract away privacy, legal and risk mitigation complexity from product owners
- Lead cross-functional efforts to improve the quality, reliability, and performance of federated evaluation features
- Helping position ALIGNMT AI as an industry leader in AI Privacy, Risk Mitigation and Data Governance best practices.
- Mentor engineers and working closely with the EM to nurture team health.
