For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will focus on building and improving patient-facing web applications that support key healthcare journeys and conversion outcomes. You will partner closely with Product, Design, and Analytics to shape user experiences, guide technical direction, and influence engineering decisions across the team. The position combines hands-on coding, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and write code for complex projects within the patient onboarding team
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics to enhance patient journey experiences
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to fellow engineers
• Improve engineering practices using modern AI-enabled tools for efficiency
• Develop and maintain scalable production web applications across various frameworks
• Determine the technical impact of engineering decisions on user experiences and conversion workflows
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including Staff-level scope and leading cross-team initiatives
• Strong full-stack experience with production web applications, modern front-end frameworks, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to lead technically complex projects from inception to production support
• Experience managing high-impact user journeys like onboarding and registration
• Skilled in influencing technical direction and aligning with cross-functional teams like Product and Design
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools integrated into engineering workflows
