About The Role
The Specialty Access & Affordability value stream at McKesson is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the FastAuth team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling applications that expedite the prior authorization process for specialty prescriptions. Your work will significantly reduce the time between a prescription being written and a patient starting therapy, thereby improving patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency.
You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers who are committed to delivering high-quality solutions through continuous integration and deployment. The role involves working across various technologies including React for front-end development, .NET for backend services, and Azure cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on position where ownership, technical excellence, and innovative problem-solving are highly valued.
As part of the team, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. Your expertise will help shape the architecture and ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our applications. You will also mentor junior team members, contribute to code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Typically 8+ years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, and/or .NET
- Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, including Kafka
- Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Design and develop scalable, robust web applications using TypeScript, React, and .NET
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to implement Azure cloud solutions
- Lead and mentor team members through complex technical challenges
- Contribute to building and maintaining event-driven architecture, including Kafka integrations
- Convert ambiguous or complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide technical mentorship
- Ensure high-quality delivery with predictable timelines and maintainability
- Support applications in production through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancements
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, technical planning, and design reviews
