The Software Engineer will work at Aras Digital and will be experienced in distributed systems, event-driven microservices architectural style, NoSQL databases (especially MongoDB), and web frontend technologies. AI Engineering practices (moving beyond vibe coding to context engineering and agentic engineering) are crucial for this role; this position will entail working on cutting-edge technologies and making a significant impact on our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly available, scalable and high-performance software systems using cloud native event-driven microservices architectural style,
• Design, develop and maintain high performance web front-end applications,
• Design and implement solutions equipped with end to end observability,
• Work on full-stack development tasks, including both backend services and front-end features end to end,
• Contribute to code reviews and make best practices prevalent across domain boundaries,
• Monitor, measure, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize system behaviour in these areas to ensure reliability and high performance,
• Automate workflows and processes to improve overall efficiency,
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the technology stack and the software products remain cutting-edge,
• Powering software development and delivery with AI tools and harnesses day to day. And contribute to the development of higher-level systems that themselves build the software products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s (or preferably Master’s) degree in Computer Science or Engineering,
• At least 3+ years of experience in software development,
• Experience on distributed systems and cloud-native microservices architecture (especially event-driven systems),
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• Solid knowledge of systems and software design principles, patterns, and best practices,
• Experience as a software engineer with strong expertise in .NET, C#, and GoLang, Python,
• Experience with front-end technologies, including Angular and TypeScript,
• Knowledge/Experience with MongoDB, SQL databases, Kafka, and Redis (Including especially, data modelling, performance monitoring and optimizations, partitioning, indexing, cluster&shard management),
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment,
• Knowledge/Experience with API design - RESTful APIs and GraphQL,
• Sound knowledge with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices,
• Knowledge/Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - nice to have,
• Familiarity with coding agents and also with AI agent development,
• Familiarity with/Interest in open-weight AI models, pre/post training, fine tuning and inference optimization techniques - nice to have.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
• Excellent command of English.
