About The Role
Come Near is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for owning the technical design and development of our highest-priority initiative: a personalized digital engagement platform. This platform aims to connect individuals with tailored Jesus stories and experiences, enhancing user engagement and fostering authentic connections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development, with expertise in modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance features that support our mission-driven objectives. Qualifications
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development. Proven expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript is essential, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Next.js and React. Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as shadcn/ui is required. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and deployment tools like Vercel and Cloudflare is necessary. Strong understanding of caching strategies, CDN configurations, and edge computing is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and a commitment to the organization’s faith-based mission.
