About the Role:

We are seeking a strong Full-Stack Software Engineer to co-pilot the technical development of our medical technology platform. You will build, secure, and scale a complex architecture involving web applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven edge computing. We are looking for someone with formal academic training in software design who can write excellent code, validate architectural decisions, and ensure best practices in system design and security.

Core Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain scalable web applications and backend APIs (React, PostgreSQL, FastAPI/Python).
• Architectural Validation: Collaborate closely with the Lead Systems Engineer to brainstorm, challenge, and refine system architectures, ensuring they meet rigorous software engineering standards.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage and deploy secure cloud environments, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for provisioning resources, DNS routing, and security policies.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a highly related field. (A formal understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and secure system design is required for this role).
• Backend & Cloud: Proficiency in backend development (FastAPI/Python) and cloud architecture (AWS, including Cognito, Route 53, and IAM).
• Frontend & Database: Experience with modern frontend frameworks (NextJs) and SQL databases. Bilingual: Must be proficient in both French and English
