Full Stack Developer - Golang

We’re hiring for an exciting high growth, security and compliance software company building a modern platform used by security teams. This is a hands-on role in a high-ownership environment where you’ll ship quickly, own outcomes end-to-end, and help scale a product that handles real-world security workflows and data.

Important: for this search, we’re only prioritising candidates who have

(1) prior startup experience and

(2) prior security software product experience.

Must-haves (hard requirements)

Domain + environment

  • Startup experience: you’ve shipped product in a startup / high-growth environment (ambiguity, pace, ownership)
  • Security software product experience: you’ve built or maintained a security product (e.g., compliance automation/GRC, AppSec tooling, IAM, cloud security, vulnerability management, audit/evidence workflows, security operations tooling) as a core part of the product
  • 2 - 5 years of commercial software development experience

Technical

  • Go (Golang): production backend services
  • React: modern React UI work in real products
  • TypeScript: strong TS (not just JavaScript)
  • API engineering: production REST APIs (gRPC also relevant)
  • 3rd‑party integrations: reliable integrations with external SaaS APIs; handling upstream failures gracefully
  • Production observability: monitoring/logging (bonus for metrics/tracing)
  • Fullstack debugging: able to diagnose issues across backend + browser/UI
  • Performance for data-heavy UX: pagination + caching (and evidence you’ve handled volume)

What you’ll do

  • Build end-to-end product features across backend (Go) and frontend (React/TypeScript)
  • Design and implement APIs that power dashboards, workflows, and reporting
  • Build UI components that present complex data clearly and drive user action
  • Implement robust error handling and fallback behaviour for upstream dependencies
  • Optimize performance end-to-end (caching, pagination, query design) for high-volume data
  • Add monitoring/analytics to track feature usage, success rates, and reliability
  • Collaborate closely with engineering/product/design and iterate based on real usage

Nice-to-haves

  • Data visualization experience (dashboards, tables, charts, complex data UI)
  • Workflow engines / async job orchestration
  • Deeper information security background
