About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic engineering firm. This remote position is strictly available for candidates residing within the United States. As a Web Developer at ORIONYX ENGINEERING LTD., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that support our engineering projects and strengthen our digital presence. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to create user-friendly interfaces, ensure seamless functionality, and optimize the performance of our online platforms. Your role will be pivotal in translating technical requirements into effective digital solutions that enhance client engagement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Proven experience as a web developer, preferably within an engineering or technical environment
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP
• Experience with frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
• Understanding of database management systems including MySQL and MongoDB
• API integration experience
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Experience using project management tools such as JIRA or Trello
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement responsive web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Create and optimize user interfaces to ensure a positive user experience across various devices and screen sizes

• Monitor website performance metrics and optimize for speed and efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, workflows, and development processes for future reference
