Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laravel and Vue.js Developer role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The developer will design, build, and maintain web applications using Laravel for back-end services and Vue.js for front-end user interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, optimizing application performance, integrating APIs, and ensuring secure and scalable architectures. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, writing clean and testable code, and troubleshooting issues in both front-end and back-end components. The developer will also contribute to technical documentation and support continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, with proficiency in Laravel and related PHP-based server-side technologies.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including solid understanding of software design principles, version control (e.g., Git), and testing practices.
• Candidates should possess JavaScript expertise, including experience with state management libraries such as Redux.js or equivalent tools.
• Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Beneficial skills include familiarity with RESTful APIs, database design (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), responsive UI design, and basic DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
