What You Will Do
- Lead the technical direction and architectural decisions for the primary web application and upcoming, soon-to-be-announced product projects.
- Implement end-to-end features using Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, and PostgreSQL while maintaining high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with the UX, design, and growth teams to create seamless learning experiences and evolve the product roadmap based on customer insights.
The ideal candidate
- At least 4 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails, demonstrating deep expertise across the entire full-stack development lifecycle and architectural decision-making.
- Strong background in PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and payment systems like Stripe, with a preference for those who favor modern Hotwire and Stimulus patterns.
- Proactive, self-motivated problem solver who enjoys taking ownership of features and making smart, independent technical decisions in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
