For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on building and maintaining full-stack web applications that support critical financial services operations. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, improve code quality, and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead code and design reviews to improve operational efficiency
• Participate throughout the application lifecycle with a focus on coding and debugging
• Write clean, functional web application code
• Troubleshoot and debug complex system issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage new feature development
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of software development experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree
• Strong programming skills in Java or C# as a full-stack developer
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular
• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in cloud-native infrastructure deployments
