About The Role

UPTARGET is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing and building a banking platform.

The team is building next-generation vertical banking infrastructure tailored specifically for insurance — combining deep domain understanding, robust financial systems, and AI-driven workflows.

What you’ll do?

We don’t do micromanagement here. You will be handed high-level objectives (e.g., “We need a more intuitive checkout flow”) rather than 10-page spec documents. Your job is to bridge the gap between a rough idea and a production-ready, performant feature.

Our Stack

• Core: React (Functional Components + Hooks), Next.js.
• State & Data: React Query for server state, localized state for UI.
• Quality: TypeScript (strict mode), Unit/E2E testing.
  
  

What We’re Looking For?

• 7+ years in Frontend development.
• Deep experience with React and a strong understanding of modern best practices.
• Proven ability to distinguish between clean, maintainable React patterns and overly complex or fragile approaches.
• Strong architectural skills with Next.js, including knowing when to use SSR, static generation, or client-side data fetching.
• A strong product mindset — you don’t freeze when requirements are vague.
• Great English communication skills.
