At SME Bank, we are on a mission to become the best digital neobank in Europe. We provide innovative financial services to businesses across the Baltics and beyond. As part of our continued digital transformation, we are looking for a Web Developer to own and evolve our public-facing website, built on Payload CMS, ensuring it reflects our brand, performs flawlessly, and scales with our growth.
What You Will Do:
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our corporate website built on Payload CMS.
• Build and customize Payload CMS collections, fields, hooks, and access control to support marketing and product content needs.
• Translate designs into responsive, accessible, high-performance front-end code.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to implement new pages, campaigns, and features.
• Manage integrations between the website and third-party services (analytics, forms, CRM, etc.).
• Ensure the site's security, performance, and uptime, following best practices for hosting and deployment.
• Take ownership of the codebase left by our external agency partner, formalizing documentation and establishing a sustainable in-house maintenance process.
What You Need to Succeed:
• 2+ years of experience as a Web Developer, ideally with hands-on Payload CMS (or similar headless CMS) experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs and headless CMS architecture.
• Experience with modern deployment workflows (CI/CD, Docker, cloud hosting).
• Good eye for design detail and ability to implement pixel-perfect, responsive layouts.
• Familiarity with modern development tools (Git, Jira, etc.).
• Experience in the Bank or fintech industry is a plus.
