About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering modern applications using .NET, ASP.NET Core, React, and Microsoft Azure.

You will be involved across the software development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants to take ownership of technical solutions and contribute to a growing, cloud-first engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and React.
• Design and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build integrations between modern frontend applications and backend services.
• Work with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), Redis Cache, SignalR, and Azure AD B2C / Microsoft Entra External ID.
• Develop efficient and maintainable data-access solutions using Entity Framework Core and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Apply Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Write high-quality automated tests and contribute to maintaining strong code coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement robust solutions.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Work collaboratively within Agile development teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering practices using Azure DevOps.
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in .NET.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core.
• Solid experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
• Good understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.

Frontend

• Strong experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with frontend state-management solutions such as Redux, MobX, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience integrating React applications with REST APIs and backend services.

Azure & Cloud

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly:

• Azure Functions
• Azure API Management (APIM)
• Azure Redis Cache
• Azure SignalR
• Azure AD B2C / Microsoft Entra External ID
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of Git-based development and branching strategies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong focus on automated testing and code quality.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions independently.

Nice to Have

Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

• Microservices architecture
• Distributed systems
• Event-driven architecture
• Messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ
• OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
• API security and authentication/authorization
