We're hiring on behalf of a leading global financial institution for a Full Stack Developer to join their Risk & Information Management team in Montreal.

You'll be part of a multidisciplinary agile team responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of applications supporting Non-Financial Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities:


🔹 Design and develop complex software systems and applications with high standards for quality and innovation

🔹 Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to boost development velocity and solution quality

🔹 Deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements

🔹 Drive technical excellence through code reviews and design discussions

🔹 Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

🔹 Participate in Agile ceremonies and adapt to evolving regulatory and business requirements

🔹 Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability


What We're Looking For:

- 7-15 years of development experience, with proven ability to write clean, optimized, efficient code

- Strong background in Core Java, Java EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Web Services, and relational databases

- Front-End development experience (Angular, React, or similar)

- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Copilot, Agent mode, Skills, etc.) for development, automation, or reporting

- Demonstrated experience designing complex, large-scale distributed systems and microservices

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives


Nice to Have:

DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, observability tools)

➕ Understanding of serverless architecture

Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools

➕ Familiarity with JIRA or other ALM tools

➕ Basic Linux and Shell scripting knowledge
