About Us

BM'WINGS Interactive is a Douala-based web development and digital marketing agency delivering websites, web applications, and digital campaigns for clients in Cameroon and internationally (UK, EU, US). Alongside ATLAS NETWORKS ETS, we combine software development, cloud infrastructure, and marketing services in one fast-moving team. We're looking for a motivated junior developer who wants to grow into a full-stack role while sharpening real digital marketing skills.

The Role

You will work as a Junior Full-Stack Developer (70%) and Digital Marketing Assistant (30%), building and maintaining client websites and web applications while supporting SEO and paid advertising campaigns. This is a hands-on role with structured training, real client projects from month two, and a clear path to certification.

Key Responsibilities

Development

• Build and maintain websites and web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
• Use AI-assisted development tools daily — writing effective prompts for Claude (Anthropic) is central to our workflow; ChatGPT/Codex and Gemini are also used
• Work with GCP APIs integrated in our products (Google reCAPTCHA, Google Maps, and others)
• Support basic cloud operations on AWS (S3, IAM policies, EC2, VPC) and Microsoft Azure (Active Directory, Virtual Machines)
• Manipulate and manage databases, including via Microsoft Access and Excel
• Follow project roadmaps, write clear technical reports, anticipate problems, and contribute ideas
• Use and implementation of API on any web or mobile projects ( API such as BREVO, SMTP2go, AWS IAM, IPGeolocations, Cloudflare Turnstile, etc )

Digital Marketing

• Create, run, and analyze Facebook/Meta ad campaigns using Meta Business Suite
• Apply SEO best practices to client websites and content
• Support Google Ads campaigns (a strong plus)
• Produce marketing visuals (posters, resized images, logos) using Canva or Photoshop

Team & Client Work

• Communicate via Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
• Support sales activities and use CRM tools (Zoho CRM, HubSpot — training provided)
• Document your work and report progress consistently

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in web development (7 years maximum)
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, WordPress, and JavaScript (basics), MySQL
• Proven ability to write effective prompts for AI development tools — Claude (Anthropic) is a must; ChatGPT and Gemini are a plus
• Solid experience with Meta/Facebook Business Suite: creating campaigns, running ads, and analyzing performance
• Good working knowledge of SEO
• Knowledge and use of Adobe Dreamweaver and VS Code
• Basic AWS knowledge (S3 buckets, policies, EC2, VPC setup) — we provide further DevOps training
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure (AD, VMs) and familiarity with GCP APIs
• Strong Microsoft Office skills — Excel is essential to our operations; Outlook and PowerPoint are required; Microsoft Access is a strong advantage
• Native-level English and professional French (reading, writing, and spoken communication)
• Graphic design ability: Canva or Photoshop for posters, image resizing, and simple logos
• A portfolio of personal or professional projects with proof of your contribution as a developer
• Strong critical thinking, motivation, ability to multitask, and eagerness to learn
• Located in Douala 5ème or a neighboring district

Bonus Skills (Stand Out)

• Basic Python scripting (reading and writing simple scripts)
• Basic Google Ads campaign experience
• Mobile app or desktop (Windows or other OS) software development experience
• Prior hands-on experience with any CRM (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce). Training will be provided, but basics are important.

Training & Career Path

• Month 1: Structured onboarding and training across our stack and tools (shortened to 2 weeks for highly proficient candidates)
• Month 2 onward: Full testing phase, then production work on live client projects
• Certificates of completion are issued after training and testing milestones
• Ongoing DevOps and cloud training for candidates who demonstrate AWS fundamentals

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Extended hours may occasionally be required during high-pressure client deliveries (compensated per contract terms)

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will complete a coding assessment and practical tests covering development, AI prompting, and digital marketing competencies.
