We are looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer to help build and maintain the online presence of a new premium sports nutrition and wellness brand.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a modern e-commerce platform from the ground up, collaborating closely with leadership, designers, and marketing to create an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about developing responsive, high-quality web applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's e-commerce website.
• Build responsive, user-friendly web pages that perform well across desktop and mobile devices.
• Implement new website features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional web pages.
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics, and marketing tools.
• Optimize website performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Assist with testing before new features are released.
• Monitor website functionality and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional web development experience (internships and freelance projects are welcome).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React.js, Next.js, or a similar modern JavaScript framework.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Experience using Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of website performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify, Shopify Hydrogen, WooCommerce, or another e-commerce platform.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience integrating Stripe, PayPal, or similar payment providers.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or SEO fundamentals.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, or Strapi.
• Experience deploying applications on Vercel, Netlify, or AWS.
• Passion for fitness, wellness, or e-commerce is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Personal portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Experience building online stores.
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG).
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
