Role Description The Senior Web Developer role at PENSIL MEDIA is a full-time hybrid position based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance websites and web applications that support integrated campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include architecting solutions, implementing front-end and back-end features, optimizing site performance, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and integrating APIs and third-party services. The Senior Web Developer will collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and marketing teams to translate creative concepts into robust digital experiences, while reviewing code, mentoring junior developers, and enforcing best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end development skills, including Front-End Development, Web Design, and responsive UI implementation.
• Python skills is highly needed and essential for the role. Do not apply if you dont have it.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies, with experience in Back-End Web Development and Programming for scalable, secure web applications.
• Comprehensive Web Development experience, covering end-to-end website and web application delivery, deployment, and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of modern web standards, performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with common web stacks and frameworks (e.g., React frameworks, HTML/CSS preprocessors, server-side languages, RESTful APIs).
• Ability to translate creative and marketing concepts into technical solutions and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead developer role, including code review, mentoring, and technical decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in media, advertising, or digital agencies is beneficial, as is familiarity with analytics, SEO, and CMS platforms.
