About The Role

Koniag Government Services is seeking a highly skilled UI Developer with a TS/SCI security clearance to join our team supporting a government client in Vienna, VA. This role involves developing and maintaining web applications and services that are critical to government operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, integration, and deployment. Working within a collaborative team environment, the UI Developer will support interface development, site architecture, and the implementation of web-based solutions to enhance government service delivery. The role demands a proactive approach to software enhancement, optimization, and troubleshooting, ensuring that applications operate efficiently and securely in a sensitive environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in web software development, demonstrating a strong understanding of modern development practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in coding with the latest versions of Java and Angular, along with familiarity with other tools required by the government.
  • Experience working in dynamic operational environments where priorities can shift rapidly.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, and other relevant tools, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of interfaces to various applications, facilitating seamless data exchange and system integration.
  • Participate in designing site concepts, interface layouts, and overall architecture to support user needs and system requirements.
  • Contribute to the design of software tools and subsystems that promote reuse, scalability, and domain-specific analysis.
  • Identify areas for software optimization, including reducing operating time and enhancing system efficiency.
  • Create new software solutions and modify existing applications to ensure system integrity, security, and performance.
  • Provide ongoing support for web-based applications, including online customer service platforms, to enable government agencies to deliver services digitally.
  • Assist in refining interface designs and site architecture to improve user experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and ensure timely delivery of software components.
