Organimi (www.organimi.com) is a leading B2B SaaS software publisher and we're searching for an experienced Full Stack Software Developer who builds with AI coding agents as their primary engine and is equally at home on the DevOps side: the pipelines, cloud infrastructure and ephemeral environments that let agents ship safely.

You will design, develop and support new product features in our core org chart product, provide implementation and integration support to customers alongside our customer success team, and help shape requirements and priorities as a core member of our product team. Our team is small, so everyone has a huge impact on our success, and our bonus system reflects this. Our ideal candidate is in the greater Toronto area (GTA) or Kitchener-Waterloo area, where most of our team works from, and is a self-starter who thrives on a remote, virtual team.

How we build software

Our development team runs on Claude Code. Agents pick up JIRA tickets, work in isolated Docker and git worktree environments, write and run Playwright and unit tests, and open pull requests. Our developers steer that process: writing the skills, agent definitions, MCP integrations and hooks that make agents good at our codebase; deciding what to build and how; reviewing every line that reaches a pull request; and keeping several streams of work moving at once. If your instinct on a new ticket is to plan the work, brief an agent, and then critically review what comes back rather than type the code by hand, you'll fit in well here. If you have been doing this with Cursor, Codex or another agentic tool, that experience translates directly; we expect you to become fluent in Claude Code quickly.

None of this works without the infrastructure underneath it. Every agent run needs an environment that spins itself up, runs the full regression suite, hands a working build to a person for a manual or agent-assisted look when needed, and tears itself down again. Our developers own that too: the GitHub Actions pipelines, the AWS resources behind them, and the tooling that creates and destroys those environments on demand. We want someone who finds that side of the job interesting, not a chore that comes with the territory.

Responsibilities:

• Own features end to end across our stack (React front end, Node.js middle tier, MongoDB back end) from JIRA ticket to production, using Claude Code as the primary engine to implement them.
• Build and maintain our agent toolkit: Claude Code skills, subagent definitions, custom slash commands, hooks, MCP server integrations and CLAUDE.md conventions that encode how we build Organimi.
• Design and operate agent workflows that monitor the JIRA backlog, pick up tickets, run our tools and tests in isolated ephemeral environments, and produce pull requests ready for review.
• Review pull requests in detail, including agent-generated ones: verify correctness, security, performance and data integrity; confirm tests actually exercise the change; and rework anything that doesn't meet our standard. You are accountable for what ships, not the agent.
• Run multiple agents in parallel for high throughput: scope tasks well, write precise briefs, keep context and worktrees isolated, and know when to intervene versus let an agent run.
• Build and maintain the DevOps backbone this depends on: GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and ephemeral environments created automatically per ticket or pull request that run regression tests, support manual and agent-assisted testing, and destroy themselves when work is merged or abandoned.
• Use AI agents on the operations side too: pipeline changes, infrastructure updates, log analysis and incident triage, with the same review discipline you apply to application code.
• Translate user stories and use cases into new features and enhancements; contribute to requirements development and feature prioritization.
• Participate in code, design and architecture reviews; record significant decisions in ADRs and refine the prompts and skills that flow from them.
• Provide engineering-level customer support and troubleshoot production issues, including parsing AWS CloudWatch logs.

What you'll bring:

• University or College level degree / diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant software engineering / web development experience preferred. We will also consider exceptional earlier-career candidates (1 to 2 years) with strong co-op terms and work experience who show us the same judgment and output.
• Hands-on, day-to-day experience using an agentic coding tool as your primary way of writing software. Claude Code strongly preferred; substantial Cursor or Codex experience also welcome. Tab-completion assistants alone (e.g. basic Copilot use) do not count.
• Demonstrated ability to build for agents, not just with them: reusable skills, agent or subagent definitions, custom commands, hooks or MCP integrations, and the ability to explain what made them work.
• Proven ability to critically review AI-generated code. You can spot a plausible-looking change that is subtly wrong, a test that passes without testing anything, or a shortcut that will bite in production.
• Solid working knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js, with proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Direct experience building a web application with React.js. Direct experience with Angular, Vue.js or Svelte will also be considered.
• Experience designing and working with MongoDB / NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, client/server architecture, microservices, single-page apps, APIs and common architectural patterns including Redux.
• Direct experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, material design and graphic design principles, with proven examples.
• Strong command of Git, including branching strategies and worktrees, and comfort in Docker-based development environments.
• Proficient with debugging techniques, tools and QA practices, including automated testing with Playwright and unit test frameworks.
• Hands-on AWS (or comparable cloud) experience hosting and deploying web applications, and a genuine interest in the DevOps side of modern, AI-driven software development.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions: automated builds, test gates, deployments and rollback.
• Experience creating self-creating and self-destroying ephemeral environments (per branch, per PR or per agent run) for automated regression testing as well as manual or agent-assisted testing. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK or similar) and containerized deployments is expected.
• Excellent written communication. Much of this job is writing: precise task briefs for agents, clear PR reviews, and documentation both people and agents will read.
• Self-starter, comfortable working remotely on a virtual team, with strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage parallel work and meet deadlines.

Nice to have but not required:

• Experience building MCP servers or other tool integrations for LLM agents.
• Experience with agent evaluation: measuring the quality and consistency of agent output and iterating on prompts, skills and tooling to improve it.
• Experience with the JIRA API or JIRA automation.
• Experience with observability and cost management for short-lived cloud environments (CloudWatch, alerting, budgets and automatic cleanup of orphaned resources).
• Previous experience as a software developer for a SaaS subscription business.
• Previous experience on large, scalable systems with enterprise technologies such as Identity Management and Web Services.
• Experience with HRIS and/or Payroll platforms such as Workday, ADP or Oracle PeopleSoft, and an understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace and/or LDAP user management systems.
• Previous experience contributing to open-source libraries used in large-scale production applications.
• Previous experience with search, reporting, analytics and machine learning tools.
• Experience optimizing client-side performance of React.js apps.
• AWS Certification.
