About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Web & Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team at Coloplast. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, responsive, and scalable web and mobile experiences that enhance our digital customer platforms. Your work will directly impact patient care and operational efficiency by creating intuitive, high-performance interfaces that comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Optimizely CMS, modern JavaScript frameworks, and cross-platform mobile development, with a strong emphasis on security, API integration, and user experience. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative environment, contributing to solutions that make a difference in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in front-end web and mobile development, building responsive and scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with Optimizely CMS (Episerver), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience in building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JWT-based authentication, secure API communication, and integration with Azure Entra External ID (Azure AD B2C / CIAM).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Postman for testing, and version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Razor Pages, MVC, MVVM patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of healthcare security standards, including HIPAA, and best practices for front-end security (OWASP).
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and excellent collaboration abilities.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Optimizely CMS solutions, including reusable components, page templates, and content-driven experiences that are accessible and performant.
• Create responsive, mobile-first user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards.
• Implement and maintain front-end applications utilizing React, Vue.js, or Angular, and share design patterns across web and mobile platforms where appropriate.
• Build and support cross-platform mobile applications with React Native, collaborating with designers and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Implement JWT-based authentication and authorization, integrating with Azure Entra External ID for secure user identity management.
• Secure API communications using access tokens, refresh tokens, and role-based access control, following best security practices to prevent vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and services, collaborating with back-end teams to define API contracts, error handling, and security standards.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and scalability, and ensure maintainability through clean, well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions, providing troubleshooting support and resolving issues across environments.
• Drive security audits and compliance efforts to adhere to healthcare regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to documentation of software architecture, design principles, and deployment processes, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support company policies and ethical standards, ensuring all interactions and solutions align with healthcare industry regulations and company values.
