The Role

• Develop high-quality code with minimal disruption to the production environment
• Work across multiple teams as an individual contributor to complete technical tasks
• Submit and track requests for network blockers and security requirements
• Document and contribute to solution designs, seeking feedback from peers
• Communicate progress of work products and deliverables to management and team members
• Participate in peer review sessions and lead by example in technical critique
• Document technology standards and best practices, ensuring adherence across the team
• Conduct analysis of application and database performance, troubleshoot, and monitor applications
• Assist in implementing reliable automated test cases in partnership with Quality Engineers
  
  

What You'll Need

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 4 to 6+ years of experience in software design and web development
• Strong programming skills in object-oriented languages, particularly Java with Spring framework
• Proficient knowledge of SQL and at least one Unix or Unix variant system
• Experience with AWS services, Angular, MVC, JavaScript, Ajax, ORM, and web services
• Familiarity with build automation and code repository tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven, GitLab)
• Excellent written and oral communication, including presentation skills
• Independent thinking, decision-making abilities, adaptability, and critical thinking
