Scriptide Ltd. is looking for a versatile Medior Full Stack Javascript Developer who can plan and write extendable, maintainable code.

We support home office, however, we have a Budapest based HQ (located 1 minute on foot from Deák Ferenc tér), we expect you to spend about 1-2 days a week onsite in Budapest. Fluent Hungarian knowledge is required.

Team: Our team is made up of talented, driven developers, the average age of the team is 29 with most members being in their 20s and early 30s. The atmosphere is welcoming, we usually play sports and go out together.

Projects: All of our clients are mid- to large international corporations and we always make sure the tech stack matches our team's interest and skillsets. Developers are rotated between clients and projects frequently.

Requirements

We expect you to have fluent English as all of our clients are English speakers and at least 3 years of relevant work experience with Javascript.

Backend:

• able to setup a project with some guidance
• advanced in NodeJS
• able to develop fully REST compliant APIs
• experienced with Express (or any equivalents) and NestJS
• advanced in SQL and NoSQL databases
• advanced with popular ORMs
• has experience with testing (unit, integration E2E) and testing frameworks
• writes high-quality, maintainable, extendable code
• is experienced with Docker
• understands project lifecycle from kickoff to maintenance

Frontend:

• pro in React, NextJS and TypeScript
• pro in CSS and HTML
• able to make reusable components
• pro with state management libraries
• knows responsive web design
• able to implement flashy animations
• able to create and follow patterns

Advantages:

• familiar with Linux environments and comfortable with the command line
• familiar with Python, GO, Rust, C, C++ or any other language
• a degree in Computer Science
