Role Description The Software Engineer will work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia in a full-time capacity, designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and back-end services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing and optimizing APIs, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and contributing to software architecture decisions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, refine technical specifications, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and help improve development processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and integrating RESTful APIs and working with databases.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in production code.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with web frameworks, cloud platforms, or containerization tools (e.g., Node.js/.NET, AWS/GCP, Docker) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Golang, knowing dotnet is a plus.
