Job Summary
This is a
senior full-stack role for an
engineer who takes ownership and drives results. You will independently lead delivery tracks, set
technical direction on complex initiatives, and co-own our
DevOps and CI/CD posture. Day-to-day, you will work across both legacy
.NET Framework and modern
.NET Core,
React, and Next.js — shipping production code while raising the bar for the team around you.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the full stack — front-end (React, Next.js), back-end (.NET), and data layer (SQL Server).
- Translate requirements into implementation. Work from product requirements and technical specifications to deliver well-scoped, production-ready features.
- Lead technical design on complex initiatives. Drive system design decisions, document trade-off rationale, and ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and maintainable, and communicate those decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop engineers. Provide technical guidance and structured code review feedback, including pull requests from across the team, to support the development of junior engineers and uphold platform standards.
- Write and maintain tests. Contribute to automated test coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers. Advocate for testable code and a reliable test suite.
- Debug and resolve issues. Identify, diagnose, and resolve defects and performance issues across the platform.
- Participate in agile delivery. Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Estimate work, manage your own delivery, and flag blockers early.
- Participate in incident response. Join the on-call rotation. Contribute to playbook development and serve as a qualified escalation point for production issues.
- Collaborate with offshore engineers. Work daily with our offshore engineering team. Write clear specs, review their work, and maintain documentation standards that support their effectiveness.
- Represent engineering to stakeholders. Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders clearly and credibly.
