Do you want to own the frontend, set the visual and experiential standard – and build solutions that are actually used, scale, and convert?

At Tribe, we’re looking for a star frontend / fullstack developer who loves taking responsibility, thinks holistically, and can take the lead on frontend and UI/UX – while also being able to support the backend and connect systems elegantly, in close collaboration with our Head of Development and the architecture already in place.

This is not a “sit-and-get-tickets” role.

It’s a take-ownership role with responsibility for momentum, new solutions, optimizations, and implementations.

🎯 Your Role (short version)

You will become frontend lead in practice – and in mindset:

• You drive and own the frontend experience
• You set the bar for UI, UX, performance, and quality
• You collaborate closely with the Head of Development on architecture, backend, and integrations – as well as with the rest of the team
• You’re the type who spots problems, designs solutions, and executes

🧠 Responsibilities

Frontend & product development

• Implement new features and improvements across Tribe’s platforms
• Build responsive, performance-optimized, and scalable components
• Ensure high quality across browsers and devices
• Take ownership of frontend structure, code quality, and consistency

UI/UX & design (hands-on)

• Further develop Tribe’s design guides and component libraries
• Create and refine wireframes and mockups in Figma – and translate them directly into code
• Polish UI with a strong focus on:
• Micro-interactions
• Typography & spacing
• Colors, animations, and details
• Actively work with conversion optimization, user flows, and usability
• (checkout, landing pages, dashboards, etc.)

Collaboration & product direction

• Work closely with the CEO and team on product vision, design choices, and user experience
• Contribute to Tribe’s brand identity across digital surfaces
• A/B test, analyze user feedback, and continuously optimize
• Document design and code decisions so the team can build forward

Backend & integration (supporting role)

• Support the backend where it makes sense
• Connect frontend and backend cleanly and elegantly
• Work within – and contribute to – the architecture defined by our Head of Development

• Ensures UI matches design 1:1 – or improves it when it creates more value for customers and suppliers
• Thinks in performance, usability, conversion, quality, speed, accessibility (WCAG), and scalability
• Takes responsibility and accountability – and delivers
