Full-Stack Software Engineer

Company: TenFore Golf

Type: Full-time

Location: United States (Remote)

About TenFore

TenFore builds the software that runs golf courses end to end — online tee-time booking, point-of-sale, memberships and passes, events, and integrated payment processing. Our platform spans a customer-facing web app, a staff admin portal, GraphQL backend services, a mobile POS, mobile golfer app, and a self service kiosk. Thousands of daily transactions across ~150 golf courses ride on this stack, so correctness and reliability matter as much as shipping quickly.

The Role

We're hiring a full-stack engineer to work across our web frontends and GraphQL backend services, head up integrations, and optionally to lend a hand on a couple of our mobile apps (Expo + React Native). You'll own features from database and API through to the UI a golfer or course operator actually touches. This is a small team, so you'll have real ownership and see your work in production fast. We are big believers in minimal meetings and letting engineers get into a zone with minimal interruptions. We do LOTS of updates and move fast!

None of us take ourselves too seriously, please have a sense of humor, for the love of Zeus.

What You'll Work On

• Customer web app (Fox) — the Nuxt 3 / Vue 3 site golfers use to book tee times, buy memberships, and manage their accounts.

• Staff admin portal (Buck) — the internal Nuxt 3 / Vue 3 application course operators use to run memberships, reporting, events, and day-to-day operations.

• GraphQL backends (GopherAPI & SwanAPI) — .NET 8 services built on HotChocolate and EF Core that power both web apps and mobile, following a vertical-slice / repository pattern over SQL Server.

Mobile POS (optional) — pitching in with our React Native + Expo work alongside the mobile lead.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features across the full stack — GraphQL schema and resolvers, EF Core data access, and Vue/Nuxt UI.
  • You'll be in charge of 3rd party integrations when they come in.
  • Write correct, well-tested code for payment, booking, and reporting flows where accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Collaborate on API contracts between frontend and backend, and keep the GraphQL layer clean and well-authorized.
  • Review pull requests, debug production issues, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Work directly with product and operations to turn real course-operator needs into shipped software.
  • We pay for Claude premium to help you be faster!

Required Qualifications

  • Solid experience with C# / .NET building web APIs (GraphQL or REST) backed by a relational database.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with a modern component framework — Vue (ideally Nuxt) or React; we'll help you ramp on whichever you don't know.
  • Comfortable with SQL and an ORM (EF Core or similar) — you can reason about queries, migrations, and data integrity.
  • Practical understanding of GraphQL (schemas, resolvers, clients like Apollo).
  • Sound engineering fundamentals: version control (Git), testing, code review, and writing maintainable code in an existing codebase.
  • American citizen living in the US.

Nice to Have

• HotChocolate (GraphQL for .NET) or another schema-first/code-first GraphQL server.

• Nuxt 3, Pinia, Tailwind CSS, and Apollo Client on the frontend.

React Native + Expo — a plus if you can help on mobile.

• Experience with payment processing / PCI-sensitive systems, financial reporting, or POS software.

• Familiarity with vertical-slice or clean architecture patterns in .NET.

Why Join

  • Full-stack ownership on a small team — your work ships to real courses quickly.
  • A meaningful, well-defined domain (not another generic CRUD app) with genuinely hard correctness problems in payments and scheduling.
  • Room to grow across frontend, backend, and mobile rather than being boxed into one layer.
  • Great health insurance, options in a quickly growing company
  • only 3 standups per week! We don't micro manage.
  • We're cool and funny! (not in an annoying way - mostly)
