About Solo Clash

At the heart of our platform is our in-house analytics and trading engine, built to process real-time data and surface transparent statistics that help traders make better decisions. If you want your code to have a direct, visible impact on the success of real traders using a real product, we'd love to meet you.

What you'll do

• Build new features and improve and maintain existing ones across our Next.js platform.
• Design and evolve our data model, including writing and reviewing migrations.
• Extend third-party integrations, swap providers when needed, and occasionally set up new ones.
• Track down and fix bugs, including in production.
• Turn requests from other teams into practical, creative technical solutions.
• Weigh in on what's feasible from an engineering standpoint, and at what cost, to help the team make better decisions.

What we're looking for

• Confident, daily-level experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Git.
• Solid English for reading documentation and communicating with external partners, in writing and verbally.
• Comfortable building with AI coding tools, and disciplined about reviewing and correcting what they produce.
• A self-starter who can own a task and deliver it without daily hand-holding.
• A structured thinker who cares about building reliable software.
• A high bar for quality: what matters is whether the solution is good and maintainable, not who (or what) wrote the code.
• The judgment to flag a blocker early rather than spend days stuck on it.
  
  

We don't expect years of experience or production projects behind you. A solid GitHub profile, or a walkthrough of something you built and are proud of, is enough.

Nice to have

• Hands-on, routine use of Claude Code or similar AI development tools.
• Familiarity with deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud environments: DigitalOcean, AWS, or others.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Exposure to fintech or trading products, so you can quickly understand the "why" behind what we ask.
• A genuine drive to keep learning independently.
