2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Development Engineer will design and develop digital software applications and platforms to meet business needs. This role is responsible for enhancing software functionality, reliability, and performance, supporting critical healthcare-related systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is vital for maintaining and advancing technology that supports healthcare operations and improving software quality through testing and mentoring.

3. Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions

• Determine solution feasibility and prepare technical design documentation

• Upgrade existing software to improve features and performance

• Write and review high-quality code

• Perform unit and automation testing

• Support applications, systems, and databases related to healthcare activities

• Collaborate on application development, code reviews, and project deliverables

• Mentor junior team members

4. Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

• Two years of relevant experience in software development or related occupation

• Experience with relational data warehouse technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, or DB2

• Familiarity with JIRA, Rally, or Confluence

• Knowledge of MySQL or NoSQL databases

• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting

• Understanding of Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles

• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, and MariaDB

• Experience performing various software testing functions including Sanity, Functional, Integration, GUI, Regression, End-to-End, and Ad hoc testing

• Ability to perform database validation using SQL and log verification

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $109512.00/year to $203940.00/year base salary range

• Eligible for bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs
