Role Description The Laravel Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. Day-to-day tasks include building and optimizing back-end services, implementing APIs, and integrating front-end components with server-side logic. The role involves writing clean, testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating with designers and other developers to deliver scalable solutions. The Laravel Developer will also participate in planning sessions, estimate development tasks, and ensure best practices in security, performance, and documentation.
Qualifications

• Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with Laravel and PHP frameworks.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in front-end development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integration with back-end services.
• Experience in general software development and programming, including version control (e.g., Git) and testing practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with attention to security and performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, package management (Composer, NPM), and deployment workflows is an advantage.
