Lyra started with a simple act. A group of engineers helped their roommates build a product from scratch. Six weeks later that product launched. Shortly after, it raised over $2M in a pre-seed round. That company was Paraform (now raised $65m series B). And that moment was the reason Lyra exists.

About the Role

As an entry-level engineer, you embed directly with a partnered client startup and take end-to-end ownership of a workstream. You're given the opportunity to make the technical calls, commit on timelines, and deliver outcomes the founder cares about - without the pressure that a typical FDE would take on.

This isn't a ramp-up role. You're generating value from week one: debugging deep in the client's systems without flailing, and providing value to clients drama-free.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in full-stack engineering with Next.js / TypeScript and/or Python
• High achievement in academics or extracurriculars
• You are curious about how things work and have innate ability to problem solve - this is crucial as you won't always have the information you need to move forward
• Strong client-facing communication
• Based in Australia
