Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Application Developer role based in Doha, Qatar. The Application Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support Watch Surgeon’s internal operations and customer-facing services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, managing and optimizing databases, implementing user interfaces with CSS, and integrating applications with existing systems and third-party tools. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance. The Application Developer will also document technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining applications.
  • Proficiency in working with Databases, including design, queries, optimization, and data integrity.
  • Ability to create and refine user interfaces using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies.
  • Experience with Integration of applications, APIs, and third-party services into existing systems.
  • Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks, version control systems, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
