2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing new advertising formats that enhance functionality and engagement for advertisers. This role involves building end-to-end solutions from prototyping to launch, iterating to achieve product-market fit, and improving the technical infrastructure supporting ad formats. The position contributes directly to advancing the platform''s advertising capabilities to better meet user and advertiser needs.
3. Responsibilities:
• Build new ad formats to enhance advertiser functionality and engagement
• Enable ad formats across multiple surfaces and placements
• Establish and iterate on product-market fit based on feedback
• Develop infrastructure to accelerate iteration and deployment
• Prototype, validate, implement, and launch new ad formats
• Continuously improve the technical foundations of ad formats
4. Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum of three years relevant experience in the offered job or a related occupation
• Proficiency with Typescript, React, Javascript, Postgres
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CSS 3+, HTML5+, browser technologies
• Background in ad technology and mobile web applications
• Skills in unit testing and web accessibility
• Combination of education, training, and experience acceptable
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Base pay range: $190,800.00 - $267,100.00 USD
• Eligibility for equity in the form of restricted stock units
• Potential eligibility for commission depending on position
