Software Engineer-Nextjs

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong frontend expertise in Next.js and hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and AWS. The role is primarily focused on building modern, scalable web applications, with approximately 80% frontend development and 20% backend and cloud platform work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
2. Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance UI components.
3. Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
4. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and microservices.
5. Work with AWS services to deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-native applications.
6. Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
7. Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
8. Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance and scalability.
9. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 8+ years of software engineering experience.
2. Strong experience with:

• Next.js
• TypeScript and JavaScript
• HTML5, CSS3

1. Hands-on experience with:

• Java
• Spring Boot
• RESTful APIs and Microservices

1. Experience with AWS services such as:

• EC2
• S3
• Lambda
• RDS
• CloudWatch
• ECS/EKS (preferred)

1. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
2. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
3. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
