About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer specializing in Back End development to join our innovative technology team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects, overseeing a team of talented developers to design, develop, and implement scalable microservices and full-stack systems. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is essential, with at least 1 year of hands-on cloud experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree and over 7 years of experience in programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js. Additionally, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working with cloud services, 4 years of experience with open-source frameworks, and 1+ years of people management experience. Familiarity with Agile practices and a passion for staying current with technological advancements will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of complex technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain distributed microservices and full-stack systems utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, and Scala.
  • Implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS tools and services, Container Orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust digital solutions that enhance customer experience and meet regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technology trends, participate in internal and external technology communities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
