About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join Capgemini Government Solutions LLC, supporting mission-critical federal systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate full-stack developer who excels in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications that are secure, scalable, and user-centric. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies, front-end frameworks, and secure coding practices. You will collaborate within an Agile environment, working closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet stringent federal cybersecurity and accessibility standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the modernization efforts of federal agencies, enabling them to operate more efficiently and securely in the digital age.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in developing web-based applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing modern front-end applications using JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in frameworks such as React, Blazor, Razor Pages, and Razor Components.
• Experience working with SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
• Deep understanding of application architecture, API development, and integration, along with reusable design patterns.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and support full-stack applications across UI, API, database, and hosting environments.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, automated build/deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Experience developing secure applications, incorporating security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, validating, testing, and maintaining ownership of generated code.
• Ability to obtain and hold a CompTIA Security+ certification within 30 days of hire.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages.
• Create user-friendly interfaces with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other front-end frameworks to enhance user engagement and accessibility.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise applications and ensure seamless data flow.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, data models, and data access layers to ensure performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across front-end, middleware, database, and hosting layers, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Apply secure coding practices, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies to safeguard applications.
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions utilizing industry-standard identity and access management technologies.
• Contribute to automated testing, code quality initiatives, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and maintain high standards.
• Participate in code reviews, collaborate closely with team members, and adhere to Agile methodologies within a SAFe framework.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining accountability for code quality, security, and performance.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating them into ongoing development efforts.
