We are supporting an international technology company in hiring Vue Frontend Engineers for its system development team in Sri Lanka. This role is suitable for frontend developers who enjoy building practical web applications, internal tools, and working closely with backend and system teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web pages, internal tools, and frontend applications.
• Connect frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Write unit tests to ensure system stability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and support team members in improving code quality.
• Support deployment automation and basic system maintenance tasks.
• Provide suggestions to improve product design, frontend structure, and development workflow.
• Work closely with backend engineers, system engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable products.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3.
• Familiar with unit testing tools such as Vitest or Jest.
• Comfortable with Shell scripting.
• Able to read and understand official technical documentation independently.
• Familiar with using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT to improve development efficiency.
• Basic algorithm/problem-solving ability, such as being able to solve common LeetCode questions like Two Sum.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other frontend frameworks such as ReactJS.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Experience using automation tools such as Ansible.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Drone or Jenkins.
• Basic UI/UX design or product analysis experience.
• Interest in software engineering best practices, such as Clean Code or Extreme Programming.
