We are looking for a Senior Python (FastAPI) & Angular Developer to join an international project within the financial sector. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern web applications, supporting the transition to a new Angular ecosystem, and building high-performance backend services with Python and FastAPI.

Work model: Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design, build, and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Integrate frontend and backend components with databases and external systems.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, security, coding, and development standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Support CI/CD processes, automated testing strategies, and application performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to deliver business value.
• Contribute to technical improvements, knowledge transfer, and reduction of technical debt.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI (or Flask/Django with willingness to work with FastAPI).
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive web development.
• Experience working with SQL databases and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of Git, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, API security, and application security principles.
• Fluent Portuguese (mandatory).
• English level B2 or higher (mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services environments.
• Experience working within structured enterprise environments with defined coding and security standards.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Pytest.
• French language skills.
