For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will focus on building modern web applications and APIs that support fast-moving business and operational needs in a media environment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions across the frontend and backend. The position also involves shaping architecture, improving developer efficiency, and helping mentor junior team members.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web applications and APIs
• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL
• Contribute to architectural decisions for frontend and backend systems
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver effective solutions
• Translate operational needs into technical solutions
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Support and mentor junior engineers on the team
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack development skills in modern web applications
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Backend experience with Node.js for services and APIs
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure
• Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
