About MotoStream
MotoStream is reshaping how people access cars across Africa, starting in Morocco. Think Airbnb, but for vehicles: a peer-to-peer platform that connects car owners who want to earn from their vehicles with renters who need flexible, affordable mobility.
What sets us apart is technology. Our AI-powered CarScan handles vehicle inspections before and after every rental, and AI-driven verification keeps both sides of the marketplace secure. It's a light-asset, high-margin model built to scale — from Moroccan cities today toward the wider Middle East and Asia.
We're a lean, fast-moving team, and we're looking for an engineer who wants real ownership over the product.
The Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain the web applications that power MotoStream, working across the entire stack. Day to day, you'll:
- Build responsive, intuitive interfaces for car owners and renters
- Design and ship scalable APIs and backend services
- Integrate third-party tools and keep the platform fast, secure, and reliable
- Partner with product, design, and operations to turn ideas into shipped features
- Review code, write tests, debug production issues, and help sharpen our architecture and workflow
What we're looking for
- Strong front-end skills (modern JavaScript frameworks, CSS)
- Solid back-end and full-stack experience building web platforms
- Comfort with RESTful APIs and modern web technologies
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and basic data modeling
- Fluency with Git and collaborative development
- A habit of writing clean, testable, maintainable code — and debugging it well
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Sharp problem-solving, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast-paced startup
- Strong communication and the ability to collaborate on-site in Fez
Our stack
Frontend: React, Redux, Bootstrap, Apollo Client (React Apollo)
Backend: Express.js, Sequelize, GraphQL, MySQL
Mobile: Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS)
Why join
- You'll be an early engineer at a startup where your work ships fast and reaches real users. If you want to help build the mobility platform for an entire region — and see your code drive it — let's talk.
