Role Description

Wenixo is looking for motivated undergraduate students who want to gain hands-on experience building and supporting technology used in real clinical environments; not just classroom or tutorial projects. This is an opportunity to contribute to a live product, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and work on meaningful challenges at the intersection of healthcare and AI.

We're seeking students who are eager to learn, take ownership, and make an impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

• Open to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
• Minimum commitment of 25 hours per week: Part-time
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Interest in healthcare technology, AI, and startup environments is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building backend applications with FastAPI
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, including database design and querying
• Solid frontend development skills using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS
• Understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Bedrock, CloudWatch, RDS, and WAF
• Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Exposure to healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, or regulated environments
• Experience building and deploying full-stack applications
• Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn quickly
