About the role

We are looking for a Senior Next.js Developer with strong expertise in modern React and server-side rendering to join our team. You will work on high-profile projects for clients in the sports and entertainment industry, building streaming platforms used by millions of users worldwide. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced web applications using Next.js and React
• Design and implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) solutions
• Optimize applications for performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO
• Build reusable components and libraries following best practices
• Implement authentication and authorization flows
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and third-party services
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Mentor junior developers and share technical expertise

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Frontend/Full Stack Developer
• At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Next.js (App Router and Pages Router)
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Deep understanding of Next.js features: SSR, SSG, ISR, API Routes, Middleware, Caching
• Experience with modern CSS solutions (CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS, or styled-components)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and data fetching patterns
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, Jotai)
• Knowledge of authentication providers (like NextAuth.js)
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, Sanity)
• Experience with Node.js backend development
• Understanding of testing strategies (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment platforms (Vercel, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals)
